Cover Chicks Dig Time LordsAs the countdown continues, Hurricane Who is pleased to announce another addition to our 2009 Convention. “Chicks Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the Women Who Love It“ is a new book being released by Mad Norwegian.

In the work, female novelists, academics and actresses come together to celebrate the phenomenon that is Doctor Who, discuss their inventive involvement with the show’s fandom and examine why they adore the series.

Several Contributors will be on hand throughout the weekend to discuss the book, as well as feminism in fandom. Editor Tara O’Shea, along with contributors Tammy Garrison, and Katy Shuttleworth will host a Panel looking at this on Friday, August 30th.
