HURRICANE WHO

We are very pleased to announce a Special Hurricane Party to kick off the Convention Weekend this October.

This event, our Convention Launch Party on October 29, 2009, is going to be held the only place that a Hurricane Party can…Cricketers Arms Pub. Cricketers has been the home of all the great Hurricane Who Events for the past year, and we only felt it right that we should include it in this years convention.  So we are having a Pub night in lieu of the traditional Celebrity Brunch… It’s just more fun that way!!

Several of our Convention Guests will be joining us in the Pub this evening. First announced for joining us that evening are:

Gareth David-Lloyd – actor, “Ianto Jones”, “Torchwood”, “Doctor Who”

Rob Shearman – writer, “Dalek“

Tony Lee – writer, Doctor Who Comics

Colin Spaull – Guest Actor, Classic and New Series

Toby Hadoke – comedian , “Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf“

Tammy Garrison – writer, “Torchwood Babiez“

Katy Shuttleworth – artist, “Torchwood Babiez”

And they will be joined by a Launch Party only Guest:

Jackie Hodgson – make-up artist, Classic Series

Tickets are available for purchase now. Tickets are $30 if you have already purchased a ticket to the Hurricane Who Convention, $40 if you are just attending the Launch Party. Attendance is limited to 200, so make sure you get yours fast!!

There will be a Shuttle to and from Cricketers Arms on the evening of the party. While the shuttle is Free of Charge, it can only hold 30 people. There is a sign up on this site so that you can RSVP for the shuttle.
