Disaster Relief is Here!!

Hurricane Who is excited to be returning to Cricketers Arms Pub this Halloween weekend with Hurricane Who: Disaster Relief.

Taking place on Saturday, October 30th, 2010 Disaster Relief will be a ‘lemons to lemonade’ style benefit to help raise money to clear up some of the outstanding issues and marking our Convention Weekend in a Fun Way!! Since this is a Benefit, any money raised above and beyond our goal shall be donated to Charity.

We are very pleased to be able to announce another Guest joining us that evening. A woman who helped introduce Doctor Who to a new generation, and we are welcoming her to Florida!!

Joining us on that evening will be…

Daphne Ashbrook

Daphne portrayed Dr Grace Holloway alongside Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann in the 1996 Fox TV Movie. Throughout her career, she has also made appearances in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Ghost Whisperer, The OC, CSI, Cold Case, The A-Team and many other series.

Daphne has very graciously agreed to join us after our previously announced Guest, John Levene, had to bow out of his appearance due to family issues that had developed. We wish the best for him and his family, and hope to see him soon.

Please be aware that while we plan on trying to accomodate as many fans as possible, there is a very real chance that this event could SELL OUT due to venue capacity. If you are able to get your tickets in advance, we would strongly suggest that you do.

Also happening is a very special ceremony, which we here at Hurricane Who are honored to be a part of. Long-time friend of Hurricane Who, Dan (Cruise Guy) Harris will be getting married to his fiancee Vanessa. We are thrilled that they have decided to share their special day with us, and look forward to making it memorable.

Also on hand for that evening will be Classic Series Make-Up Artist Jackie Hodgson. Jackie has more than one tale to tell about her time working on the Classic Series!!

There are more Guest announcements expected as we get closer to Disaster Relief, and we look forward to a good evening for all.
