This FREE EVENT will be a celebration in more than one way, as it will see us return to our home of Cricketers Arms Pub and Eatery. Cricketers, the home of our Pub Nights for many years, had to close earlier this year to relocate. We are thrilled that they have re-opened in their new location on Sand Lake Road in Orlando, and will be hosting our events once more!

Comic Connection will also be on hand that evening to give us a sampling of the latest merchandise.

While this is a free event, we do ask that you RSVP so that we can give the restaurant a heads up on staffing.

Saturday, July 9th, at the Pour House Bar and Grill at Metrowest, we will be holding our Series Premiere Party and getting our first glimpses of the Team back in action!

We will also be showing the fan film “Doctor Who: The Dream Child”, as produced by the June 2011 Graduating Class of the Dave School.

Dr Lynnette Porter will be on hand that evening signing copies of her book “Tarnished Heroes, Charming Villains, and Modern Monsters: Science Fiction in Shades of Gray on 21st Century Television”, as well as talking about her two forthcoming projects “Doctor Who in America” and “Sherlock Holmes in the 21st Century”.

Comic Connection will be on hand as well with a selection of the Tie-In Novels and Audios, as well as some merchandise from Doctor Who.

Tickets are Free, we just ask that you RSVP so that we can get an accurate count of attendees for the Pub.

The Spring Finale of Doctor Who starts Saturday, June 4th. Be there as we get answers to some questions, and undoubtedly get left with more questions!

Come out for a brilliant night watching the finale with Friends and Fellow Fans. We will be back at KC’s Pub and Restaurant for another night of fun. Bring your Stetsons, Fez-es, mops, bow ties, and all other cool things with you.

We are pleased to announce our Launch Party for this year’s MegaCon Convention. Taking place at Cricketers Arms Pub on Thursday, March 24th, we kick off Orlando’s Spring Convention Event in style.

Joining us on that evening is a man who is no stranger to Sci-Fi, even if you don’t recognize his face. From Doctor Who to Hex, Star Wars to The Fifth Element… our Guest has seen it all… Alan Ruscoe.

Alan has been one of the Men Behind The Masks for Years in the Doctor Who Universe and Beyond. Ruscoe appeared as an Auton in the Doctor Who episode ‘Rose’ in 2005 alongside Christopeher Eccleston and Billie Piper. Ever Since then he appeared in numerous episodes of the Series, including his role in ‘The Waters of Mars’.

In 1999, Ruscoe appeared in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in three seperate roles, including Bib Fortuna. Alan returned in 2002 for Attack of the Clones, in which he played Lott Dod.

Alan will be on hand at the Hurricane Who: MegaCon Launch Party, as well as appearing in the Star Signing area at MegaCon all three days.

We look forward to hearing all of the insight that Alan brings from his very unique place in the Universe of Science Fiction.

On Monday, January 24th, at 7pm Cricketers Arms Pub and Hurricane Who will be holding a very special event to help determine who really knows their stuff.

Cricketers will be holding a Special Pub Quiz for Doctor Who fans to come out and test their mettle. Winners will be receiving Cricketers Arms Gift Certificates, as well as other prizes being provided.

The Trivia Night is a free event, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can give the Pub a heads up on Staffing.

Have you ever wondered what happened to The Key to Time? Where are all of the original Daleks? What went with David Tennant’s coat?

Joining us that evening will be Andrew Beech, Doctor Who Artefacts Manager for BBC Worldwide. Andrew has been working on the new DOCTOR WHO EXPERIENCE that is due to be opening in February in London and will be on hand to tell us all of the work that has gone into planning this one of a kind exhibit.

Please feel free to come out and learn a little about how Props and Costumes have been catalogued (or LOST!) over the years, and how things are being looked after in a New Series world.
